Experience:
Anne Kellerman designs materials and teaches graduate and undergraduate online courses in the areas of e-commerce, Internet technologies, Internet business, networking, management of information systems, distance learning, computer science, multimedia and online teaching tools, at UCLA online and the New School Connected Education. Anne Kellerman is also an Adjunct Instructor at Binghamton University, State University of New York at Binghamton. She has developed and conducted workshops on using multimedia in classrooms in locations from Alaska to New York City and Boston. Anne reviews technical books and articles for the ACM and has authored two textbooks on multimedia. She served as consultant in the development of six online courses in e-business, Management of Information Technologies, and Strategic Applications of Information Technologies. She also consulted for IBM EduQuest to work with 143 universities on integrating technology into the curriculum, to prepare large grants for national distributed multimedia delivery system for use in business and education, and to produce a book on school sites' nationwide experiences in using multimedia, along with new ideas for using multimedia in classrooms. During her career at IBM, Anne managed a large organization involved in working with multiple internal and external application vendors. At IBM, she also managed large complex enterprise wide systems projects working with some of the world's leading financial institutions. She managed one of company's largest and most complex IS, data center, an installation that included an Information Center, library, large business applications software group, and group developing new techniques for distributed and client server computing. She worked with IBM corporate management to develop strategies for integrating IT and business goals, office applications, microprocessor systems development, and a design automation that produced shipped products for commercial and military use. Anne's automation projects included one important and successfully installed in the White House. Anne Kellerman has authored of numerous patents and publications in hardware, software, and applications. She represented the US on a multinational technical team to China.
