Experience:
Colette Wagner has been uuniversity assistant dean of the CUNY
Office of Computing and Information Services since 1998.
She had been director of education, training and staff development
and also coordinator of acedemic computing in that office.
She was previously professor, library department at LaGuardia Community College
and at Associate Director of the Marymount Manhattan College Library.
Colette Wagner is manager of the CUNY Portal Project, a"best of breed" portal implementation.
She was director of the initial development of
the CUNY Online distance learning network, and she obtained a total the funding fro the project
from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.
She presided over the selection of BlackBoard's CourseInfo
as CUNY's standard web-based instructional platform.
She codirected an E-Business Project to implement
web-based student registration and e-procurement.
She managed a streaming video project in collaboration with the CUNY Schools of Education
and managed an experimental University-wide license for the incorporation of
instructional objects into CUNY's undergraduate curriculum.
